Dihydroquercetin in Cosmetics
As a strong antioxidant, dihydroquercetin is used to preserve raw materials, oil and fat components, as well as finished products.
Dihydroquercetin, or taxifolin, has synergistic effects with vitamin C and therefore it enhances the effects of endogenous and applied vitamin C on the skin. As Vitamin C is required for the production of collagen, therefore, dihydroquercetin supports collagen production by vitamin C.
Enhance protective functions of the skin against external and internal toxicity, radiation, germs, and other environmental factors; normalize general metabolic processes through topical application, those in lymphatic and blood system; renew skin and slowing skin aging.
